Looking for your next career move — or ready to hire fresh talent? The Simi Valley Chamber, City of Simi Valley, and partners are teaming up to host the MEGA Job Fair — and both job seekers and businesses get in free.

Whether you’re hiring or job-hunting, this event is designed to bring our community together under one roof.

The Weekly Crave

Aside from their incredible seafood dishes, here are 3 other things that blow me away each time I take the family to MB Grille:

  1. The Happy Hour- Lasting 3-6:30PM on weekdays and 1-5PM on weekends, you always have a shot at making this happy hour. It features seafood dishes, specialty cocktails, and great pub style foods! Tough to find this level of quality food and drinks at prices like these.

  2. The Outdoor Seating- Set atop Simi Town Center Way, the temperature controlled outdoor/indoor hybrid seating option lets you dine with a view over Simi. Pro tip: if you have a big group, see if they let you reserve the fire pit table.

  3. The Service- For me to spotlight service, it has to be something special. Maybe we are just lucky, but everytime we eat at MB Grille we are blown away at the great service. The Hosts/ Hostesses and Waiters/ Waitresses always impress me with their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate. I’ve also had great interactions with the managers (I ask to talk to them, to tell them that their staff is AWESOME).

Local Topping

💧 Council Puts Water Rate Hike on Hold

Good news for Simi wallets: the City Council pressed pause on a proposed 3.5% annual water rate-hike that would have stretched over the next five years. The plan aimed to fund $51.8 million in infrastructure projects, but councilmembers raised concerns about healthy surpluses, project delays, and the burden on residents already feeling the pinch.

For now, Waterworks District No. 8’s 26,000 customers can breathe easier, but the issue isn’t gone — the council will revisit the idea once they get a clearer picture of current projects and reserves.
