Good morning, Simi Valley!

Let’s jump in:

Main Scoops

🎄 A Very Simi Christmas Weekend

If you’re staying local this weekend, Simi Valley is going to be jam packed and you don’t need to travel far to feel the Christmas magic. Here is just a taste of the action:

Throughout the weekend, the Simi Valley Town Center becomes a holiday hub with falling snow, glowing lights, and the return of Circus Caballero, bringing high-flying aerial acts and big-top energy right into the heart of town. It’s also going to be turning up the snowy fun these last few days before the 25th.

Santa sightings are happening at the historic Santa Susana Depot, complete with photo ops and a cozy showing of The Polar Express. Meanwhile, families and couples alike can lace up their skates at the Iceoplex Winter Wonderland, where the rink is transformed with festive lights, music, and hot cocoa.

If you’re looking for something a little different, Wild Lights at the Teaching Zoo offers a glowing nighttime walk through illuminated animal exhibits, while Nuncrackers is still delivering laughs at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center.

Plenty of ways to soak up the holiday spirit as we enter the 5 day countdown until Christmas!

The Weekly Crave

Schatzi’s Bakery Comes to Simi Town Center

Big (and delicious) news, Simi Valley, Schatzi’s Bakery is officially opening at the Simi Town Center, right by the Christmas tree, starting December 20 🎄

To kick things off, Schatzi’s will be popping up three days a week, serving a mouthwatering lineup of their most-loved treats, including their famous banana pudding, freshly baked pastries, warm pretzels, traditional apple strudel, and a variety of cookies that are perfect for sharing (or not).

Opening weekend is the ideal time to stop by. You’ll be among the first to experience Schatzi’s at the Town Center, enjoy everything at its freshest, and soak in peak holiday vibes while you’re at it. Whether you’re grabbing a sweet treat during a snow show, bringing dessert home to family, or just supporting a local bakery expanding into the community, this one’s worth a visit.

Welcome to Simi Valley, Schatzi’s!

Community members are invited to help wrap and label books that will be given as holiday gifts to children in need. The wrapped books will be distributed through The Samaritan Center and Sarah’s House, helping ensure local kids have something special to open this Christmas.
