Simi Scoop – Dec. 4th - 7th | It's beginning to look a lot like...
Your guide to live music, local events, and where to be this weekend in Simi.

Good morning, Simi Valley!
December is here and temperatures are starting to dip into hoodie weather. While things are cooling down outside the holiday season is heating up. Lots to do in SV this weekend!
Let’s jump in:

You’re invited to celebrate Dr. Prince’s birthday at ReEnvision Aesthetics & MedSpa in Simi Valley. Join us this Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9 AM to 5 PM at 2650 Jones Way, Suite 8, Simi Valley, CA 93065. Treat yourself like royalty—come for a day of pampering, special offers, and celebration. We’d be honored to have you celebrate with us!

Main Scoops

For three nights, Simi Community Christmas transforms the church campus into a glowing walkway of 500+ nativity scenes, twinkling lights, and rotating performances from local choirs, orchestras, and school groups.
It’s pure holiday magic, kids with cocoa, families bundled together, and a great reminder of the reason for the season.
Each night features different performers, and the entire experience is completely free. If you want one event that delivers instant Christmas spirit, this is it. Click THIS LINK to see the music line up day by day, hour by hour.
📅 December 5–7 | ⏰ 5:30–8:30 PM

The annual Holiday Open House at Strathearn Park is a charming throwback Christmas experience. Historic homes are decorated with lights, garlands, and trees while choirs and bell ringers perform across the park.
Docents welcome you into each building, Santa visits with families, and kids explore rooms filled with Victorian décor and handmade ornaments. Click THIS LINK to see a list of the activites and performers who will be there.
Don’t miss the Simi Store gift shop for unique, vintage-inspired holiday finds.

The Weekly Crave
🥩 Larsen’s Grill

Some nights call for baggy sweats and takeout. Others call for a proper steakhouse night. Saturday was one of those nights, treated the family to a dinner at Simi’s go-to steak spot. Christmas decorations, low lights, big glasses of red wine, and a steak done right. That’s Larsen’s Grill at Simi Valley Town Center.
Ambiance A+, Food A+, Service A+
The menu leans heavy on prime steaks and seafood. I went with the 16 oz Prime Rib, there wasn’t a speck of food left on my plate. Reservations are recommended, we were able to grab a table on the patio with a fire pit to keep us warm.
Wanting something sweet after dinner we went with the Snow Ball, oreo crumb crusted vanilla ice cream on a bed of hot fudge (I just drooled as I was writing that)
It’s not cheap, but not horrifically expensive either. Think “date night, anniversary, closing-on-the-house” territory, but when you want to feel a little fancy without leaving town, Larsen’s is one of the best plays on the board.
