The Weekly Crave

If you’ve lived in Simi for any length of time, chances are you’ve celebrated a birthday, date night, or family dinner at Viva La Pasta! And if you haven’t yet, this weekend’s the perfect time to fix that.

Tucked away in Wood Ranch, this family-run Italian gem has been serving locals for more than two decades, dishing out old-school comfort in every bite. Their baskets of bread are the stuff of legend soft and served fresh while the Chicken Piccata, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Eggplant Parmigiana remain timeless favorites. Aside from great food and wine, the service is top notch and I highly recommend enjoying your meal out on the patio, beautiful and comfortable.

Pair your pasta with a glass of house wine and you’ll see why Viva La Pasta! isn’t just dinner it’s a Simi classic.

📍 525 Country Club Dr.
🕓 Open Daily 11 AM – 9 PM

✈️ Air Force One Pavilion Turns 20!

It’s been two decades since Mrs. Reagan stood beside President and Mrs. George W. Bush to cut the ribbon on one of Simi Valley’s most iconic landmarks — the Air Force One Pavilion at the Reagan Library. 🎉

This Sunday, the Library invites the community to celebrate the pavilion’s 20th anniversary with a full day of festivities honoring the legacy of Air Force One 27000 — the same jet that carried seven U.S. Presidents.

From 10 AM – 3 PM, enjoy live music, giveaways for the first 2,000 guests, themed food at the Ronald Reagan Pub, raffle prizes, and a 1 PM concert by the 1st Marine Division Band Brass Quintet.

It’s a rare chance to walk through history, sip a root beer beneath Air Force One, and celebrate one of Simi’s most recognized symbols of leadership and legacy. 🇺🇸
